SwingSmithPro Privacy Policy
How SwingSmithPro handles account, connected-platform, media, and publishing data.
Last updated: August 8, 2026
The short version
You connect your own account, approve what is shared with us, review each post, and can disconnect or ask us to delete your creator workspace. We do not receive your TikTok password or sell your drafts and media.
Scope
This policy applies to the SwingSmithPro creator publishing service linked from swingsmithpro.com/social-publishing. SwingSmith operates this service and is responsible for the first-party information described here.
The main SwingSmith golf app has a separate privacy policy. This page focuses on creator workspaces, connected social accounts, drafts, publishing, and related support.
Creator account and security information
- Your name or workspace name, email address, password hash, role, account status, time zone, sign-in records, IP address, user agent, and security or abuse signals.
- Session records and the technical information needed to keep you signed in and keep creator workspaces separate.
Connected social account information
- The social platform, connected account identifier, display name, username, avatar, profile links, connection status, and permissions you approve.
- Authorization and refresh tokens used to keep the connection working. We do not receive your TikTok password.
- When you approve the related permissions, TikTok profile details used to show and confirm the connected account before publishing.
Drafts, media, and publishing records
- Images, videos, captions, titles, tags, schedules, account selections, privacy choices, interaction choices, commercial-content disclosures, AI disclosures, and other settings you submit.
- Media details such as file name, type, size, dimensions, duration, storage location, and upload status.
- Publishing records such as the requested time, destination platform, platform post identifier, processing status, failure details, and available reach or engagement results.
How we use this information
- Create and secure your creator workspace and keep it separate from other workspaces.
- Connect the social accounts you authorize and show you which account is selected.
- Preview, validate, schedule, upload, and publish the content you approve.
- Check publishing status, show errors, reconcile recent posts, provide support, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
When information is shared
- With TikTok or another social platform when you connect that platform or ask us to upload or publish a post there.
- With hosting, storage, security, email, and infrastructure providers that help operate the service under our instructions.
- With authorities, advisers, or another party when needed to follow the law, protect users, investigate abuse, enforce the terms, or complete a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
- We do not sell your creator media, connected-account tokens, or draft content.
TikTok choices and control
- TikTok authorization shows the permissions being requested. You can decline or cancel instead of connecting your account.
- Before a TikTok post is sent, you review the connected creator, media preview, editable caption, privacy choices, allowed interactions, disclosures, and final consent.
- You can disconnect TikTok in the creator dashboard or revoke access from your TikTok settings. Disconnecting stops new access and publishing through that connection.
Retention and deletion
- We generally keep creator account, connection, draft, media, schedule, publishing, and support records while your workspace is active and for the time reasonably needed to operate, secure, and support it.
- When you disconnect a social account, we stop using that connection for new requests. Limited records may remain for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, legal duties, or to document the deletion request.
- You can ask us to delete your creator publishing workspace and related data. We aim to complete valid requests within 30 days. Protected backups can take additional time to age out.
- Deleting dashboard data does not delete a post that was already published on TikTok or another social platform. You must delete that post on the destination platform.
Your privacy choices
- Do not connect a social account if you do not want the service to receive the approved account information.
- Remove drafts and unused media, disconnect platforms you no longer use, or request workspace deletion.
- Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of information tied to your creator workspace. We may need to verify that the request belongs to you.
Security and policy changes
We use account separation, access controls, authentication, encrypted network connections, provider controls, and operational safeguards intended to protect information. No system can promise absolute security.
We may update this policy when the service, connected platforms, or legal requirements change. We will update the date on this page and provide more notice when a change materially affects your choices.
